Ordering
and Payment Questions:
Can I order by mail, fax, or
phone?
Yes! We understand that some customers like to shop online
but are uncomfortable with paying for purchases online. If
you prefer to purchase offline by mail or fax, just print a copy of our
Order Form (pdf) and fill it out
as you shop.
If you order by mail or fax, be sure to include an email address and phone number so that we
may contact you regarding your order. Then, if you are
ordering by mail, send your order to
us at our address, along
with your check or money order payable to "cards4heroes.com,
LLC" or provide your Visa/MasterCard/American Express account information.
Or, if you are ordering by fax, just call our toll free
number 1-877-640-8206 with the information from your order
form, or from the online checkout screens. We'll take care
of the rest.
Please note that orders paid
for with a check or money order will not be processed until your check or money order
clears. We will charge a fee to cover
our costs of processing checks if they are returned (i.e., for insufficient funds).
What payment methods do you
accept?
For online orders:
For orders placed via our website, we accept all major credit cards and debit cards through
PayPal, including Mastercard, Visa, American
Express, and Discover. Those customers who have PayPal
accounts may also pay with an eCheck through PayPal.

If you prefer to pay with a personal check for an online order,
just enter your check number during the checkout process and then send the check to us at our address
with your order number written on it. As with offline orders,
online orders paid with a check or money order will not be processed until your check or money order clears.
The "Check" option at online checkout is for personal checks
only, not eChecks.
For offline orders (mail,
fax, or phone):
For
orders placed by mail, fax or phone, we accept checks and money
orders, as well as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Wire Transfers & EFT:
For certain bulk orders we can also arrange to accept
payment via a wire transfer or electronic funds transfer. See below for
more information about bulk orders.
NOTICE of Electronic
Check Recovery System:
If you choose to pay for your purchase by check and your
bank returns your check, you are giving cards4heroes.com, LLC,
and/or its agents permission, in advance, to electronically debit your
checking account for the check amount plus a return fee
of the maximum amount allowed by this State. The maximum
allowed for Michigan is currently $25.00. The CheckResultz
Electronic Check Recovery System handles our recovery of and
costs for checks returned for reasons such as NSF (non-sufficient funds) and
closed accounts.
Bulk Orders:
Will you give discounts for
bulk orders? Yes! If
you need to order our military greeting cards in bulk, or
our patriotic greeting cards in bulk
we
offer volume discounts. Bulk orders must be for an
order of 100 or more of a single
greeting card
design. Discount amounts will vary with the quantity
of cards ordered. Just contact us at
info@cards4heroes.com for a bulk order quote. Requests
should include the card design you need, the specific quantity, and
the time-frame in which you need to receive them. Bulk
discounts are also available for some of our gift items.
We work with corporate, government,
charitable
and other institutional
customers who need bulk quantities of our greeting cards,
including military units and veterans service offices. But, these
volume discounts are also available to anyone who needs to purchase
our patriotic and military themed cards in bulk, including individuals involved in troop support
efforts, military family readiness groups and wives’ clubs,
church groups, and schools. These discounts are our
way of Helping Americans Thank Our Troops!
Shipping & APO/FPO Shipping Issues:
How is my order shipped?
Your order will be shipped via USPS. Shipping
options will be displayed during the checkout process and may
also be viewed in your basket preview, which may be found in the
right column. You may choose from standard delivery or
Priority mail. For Express orders, please place your order
by phone early in the day. Bulk orders may be
shipped via UPS or USPS.
How quickly do you ship?
We ship Monday through Saturday morning, except on holidays, and do our
best to ship orders within one or two business days.
Most orders ship the same day. There may be times when there is a delay.
If so, we will contact you by email to let you know.
Orders paid with a check or money order do not ship until the
check clears, however.
How quickly will I
receive my order? How quickly your order will
arrive depends on:

the time of day you order (earlier is better
for same day service),
-
the
shipping method you select (Priority
usually takes two days, while standard shipping can take a week
or so),
-
your
payment method (we do not ship orders paid by
check or money order until your check clears our bank),
-
and whether you
ordered personalized or customized products. Please see the product page for the item(s) you are
having us personalize to see how long personalization or
customization takes for that item. Most of the
time you should add 2-4 days for such work.
Do you ship to
foreign addresses?
At this time, we do not ship to foreign addresses. We ship
only to domestic U.S. addresses and military APO/FPO addresses.
Do you ship to APO/FPO
addresses?
Yes! We gladly
ship to APO/FPO addresses for you at no extra charge. You are
responsible for entering an accurate, current address.
Whenever we ship to an APO or FPO address for you, we include a
little gift card that lets the recipient know who sent the gift.
We also hand-write your name on the gift card at no extra
charge!
How far in advance should I
order cards to be sent to troops overseas? We
recommend that you place your order for holiday cards and
special occasion cards at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance of the
event to ensure they arrive in time.
During the Christmas season, you may want to order at least 6 to
7 weeks in advance--that's as early as November 1st!

In a nutshell,
the suggested deadlines are to ensure delivery of cards and
packages by December 25th. The 2007 deadlines are:

Please check the
USPS notice for PAL and SAM details, and for more
information on the limitations for Express mail to military
addresses.
We will ship your orders to APO/FPO addresses for you at no
extra charge and will take care of all the customs forms for
you.
If
you will be requesting us to ship cards directly to your
servicemember's APO/FPO address during the Christmas holidays,
please place your order a few
extra days before these holiday deadlines so that we can meet
the postal service's military mail deadlines for you. Although we
will gladly ship to APO/FPO addresses for you, it does require
us to physically go to the post office to present the customs
forms (which is why many companies will not ship to APO/FPO
addresses). Lines are likely to be long at the post office and we must have
someone stand in line just like everyone else. So, please order
at least a few extra days before the postal deadlines.
Tax,
Handling, and Insurance Issues:
Do you collect sales tax?
We will charge and withhold the applicable
sales tax for all orders to be sent to addresses in the state of
Michigan. We shall not be responsible for any sales, use,
or other type of tax on orders shipped to any other state.
Do you impose handling charges?
No. We never impose handling charges.
What is your risk of loss/insurance
policy?
Insuring your
cards is your responsibility. For your convenience
during online checkout, insurance is added by default unless
you check the box indicating you do not want insurance.
If your order is submitted with insurance and you change
your mind and do not want insurance, you must contact us
immediately for a refund. If we have already shipped
your package insured by the time you contact us to reverse the
insurance option, you will not receive a refund of the insurance
charge.
We reserve the right
to self-insure. If we do so, the fee charged will be the
same as that charged by the USPS.
Returns
Questions:
What is your return policy?
Should it be necessary to return an item, you may return it for
a refund, store credit, or exchange, excluding shipping charges,
if you do so within 14 days of receipt. All items
returned must be in salable condition. We will not accept for
return any items that have been written on, for example.
Personalized item are not returnable, i.e., invitations or
cards imprinted with your servicemember's name, unless we
have made an error in the custom printing. Items
must be shipped to us pre-paid. We will not accept
return merchandise shipped C.O.D. Also, we are not responsible
for lost or damaged packages that you attempt to return.
So, for your protection, please insure the package and ship it
via a traceable method.
Before you attempt to return
any merchandise, you must contact us at

No
returns will be accepted without an RMA# . No refunds or
exchanges will be made after 14 days. If any of the
above conditions are not met, cards4heroes.com, LLC, reserves
the right either to refuse the return or to charge a restocking
fee of 15%.
When you email us about a
return, please make sure you add our address to your spam
filter's safe list. If your spam filter blocks our
response we will not be able to reach you without alternative
means of contacting you, such as a phone number.
Other
Questions:
What are the dates of the major holidays?
Click here for a list of holidays and
their dates. This list includes all standard American
holidays plus military holidays and "birthdates" of the military
service branches, as well as any other holidays authorized by
American law.
Are your cards made in America?
Yes! Our cards are designed and produced in America by
Americans. And, all our cards are printed on papers made
in America, except for a few that incorporate fine Italian
papers. Also, all ribbons used to secure the gift boxes of
boxed cards, as well as the envelopes, are made in
America. We always strive to use products and services
that are made in our Country.
Will you sign a card for me?
Yes! We will hand-sign a card for you and even hand-write
a brief message for you at no extra charge!
Whenever we do so, we also include a small gift card letting the
recipient know it was signed and sent on your behalf! If
you want a card hand-signed, please email us after you order
with the information you would like us to add to the card.
As we often send out orders the same day they are placed, or the
next business day, please
email that information right away.
Do you make custom cards?
Some of our cards come in different editions especially for
different service branches. A few cards may also be
personalized with your servicemember's name and rank. Further, some
invitations may be personalized. And, we can add a custom
message or personalization for bulk orders. However, at this time we do not
otherwise offer custom cards. If you have a
need for a custom product, we would be happy to
consider working with you. So, please feel free to contact
us by emailing your custom request to
